Stylist Reviews For Sport Clips Haircuts of Prescott Valley Crossroads

Hair stylists name was Becca. I have been going to this sports clips since they opened. I get my haircut at least once every 30 days. I usually take whoever is available.Today it was Becca. after our first three exchanges of sentences I knew this would not be a good experience and from the moment I sat down in her chair, I could not wait to leave the store. I was greeted and asked to put on a mask which is no problem for me. However, since they reopened this was the first time in about three or four haircut trips that I was asked to put on a mask. Again, this is not a problem for me. I tried to spark up conversation by asking "Oh, when did you guys start enforcing this?". She replied in a very teacher-like voice "It's corporate policy". Which is fine, I understand that but I was curious as to what caused the sudden change because I have gotten my haircut several times since the virus without a mask on. Again I don't mind wearing a mask. So I asked "oh but when did you guys start enforcing it?". She said in her teacher like voice "since the pandemic started". I knew this was incorrect so I explained to her "I'm not complaining and I don't mind wearing a mask but I'm just curious because I've been here several times and not had to wear one why all of a sudden?" (Thinking that maybe corporate came down on them which would have been a decent response to my question) . And she again replied in her teacher like voice "corporate policy". I knew this was not going to be a pleasant haircutting experience and from then on I just wanted to leave. I usually get an MVP but being that I just wanted out of there I just said give me the haircut and the rinse. As we went back to rinse my hair, I asked her if she could use tea tree shampoo because it is the one thing I enjoy about my haircut and rinse is feeling that tingly feeling. Her reply was, "I can't because I'm allergic". The entire experience felt very forced and non-friendly. Most hair stylists there will look at the receipt and see what I normally get for a haircut and say, t"he usual?". again, I'm not complaining about wearing a mask and I understand it is important. But I was just trying to spark up a conversation about why things may have changed because it's the store I normally go to. If this is a customer-oriented business, one of the best shampoos around is that tea tree oil feeling, not being able to salvage this horrendous experience with at least a shampoo of my liking was a complete letdown. A day, I am a vet and I've always been charged a veteran's discount. I don't like flaunting it or asking for it and normally they just automatically put it on there. However, today I was irate at the experience so I made a comment before she rang me up saying I'm a vet. She ignored me and charged me the regular price which I replied to her "okay, I'm a vet but it's no big deal I don't mind paying the regular price". Normally when I have a great experience I don't mind tipping 50% or more. If I get a good haircut for 25 bucks I have no problem throwing down 10 bucks as a tip. Any of the other hair stylists will probably attest to this. However, this experience left me feeling like I made a mistake and should have just went over to the other location in Prescott where I will go and get my haircut If I do it in the middle of the day while I am at work. I so bad wanted to talk to a manager to explain my experience because it is my opinion that this woman is not very personable or friendly to talk to. I am a friendly customer who enjoys talking it up with my stylist but after the first few sentences, I really just wanted to leave and also wished I had never shown up.

As I don't see any reviews for my stylist, I believe that people may be keeping her a secret. I have looked for a good stylist for the last 2 years, now I've found one. Alicia is fantastic. I have found her to be caring of what I want, and very professional in the business aspect. I can come in looking worn down and tired, but leave feeling and looking good. I appreciate the time that Alicia spends listening to what I want, and offering the advise I ask for. This location is very busy on the day that I can make an appointment, but I have not had one bad experience at this location, and I have never seen someone upset or dissatisfied, guest or employee. I highly recommend this location and stylist. Hard to keep a secret when your this good.

Danny sat they're and bad mouthed me behind my back to another employee. As she thought I was flirting with her assuming I couldn't hear her. Sorry, 90 lbs looking pirates aren't my cup of tea. Just because someone is nice doesn't mean they find you attractive. Lost my business. For life
